DCT RoadShow actors perform Story Theatre for young audiences in the Denton area. They are led by Julie Brinker, DCT Outreach Director, who holds an MFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Child Drama.

What is Story Theatre?

It is a performance format that combines storytelling and traditional theatre performance. A (traditionally) small, flexible cast narrates and acts out several stories, songs, and/or poems using puppets, audience participation, and traditional theatrical conventions. The result is a fast-moving and excitingly interactive experience for both audience and actors. Set, costumes and props are minimal.
